# General

A general reminder is a personal task with no deadline. You create it just like a dated one, but you leave the **Set date** toggle off.

## No notification
Because it has no set time, a general reminder triggers no notification. It stays in the **To do** card on the dashboard and in the reminders list until you mark it as done or delete it. A good fit for open tasks you don't want to tie to a clock.
