# Forgotten password

## Getting a new password

If you have forgotten your password, you will need the secret passphrase you received when you registered your account. <br/>
Without it you will not be able to get a new password.

> Save the secret passphrase in a safe place, or print it out. <br/> Without that passphrase we will not be able to recover your account.
 
Go to the [login](/login) page and click the ["Forgot your password?"](/forgot-password) link. You will receive an email with a password reset link.

By following the link in the email, you will need to enter your email address, the new password, and the secret passphrase.
